Oracle Software Development Senior Manager Baton Rouge , Louisiana Apply Now We are seeking a Senior Software Development Manager who will lead an exceptionally talented team of Software Engineers and Senior Software Engineers to help elevate the Networking Software stack into the best and most secure one in the modern cloud environment by adding features and scale. Responsibilities: Ensuring high availability and maintaining a high operational posture of your service. Setting the roadmap for the service by negotiating requirements and deliverables with product management, various internal and external customers. Developing project development plans. Driving the team to deliver on availability and roadmap commitments. Provide leadership, direction and strategy for a team of senior engineers. Develop a prioritized roadmap of products, features and engineering asks. Drive the delivery of roadmap commitments on time with high quality. Work closely with a variety of stakeholders (other OCI teams, Oracle Corp teams, product management) to ensure cross-organizational dependencies are managed effectively. Provide regular updates to executive management. Own and deliver a near real time Network Health Intelligence solution involving high volume network telemetry collection and big data processing to enable predictive analytics. Required Qualifications: BA/BS or higher degree in Computer Science or Equivalent. 8+ years of experience developing/operating/managing products and/or services, including 4+ years in a management position. Experience quickly understanding new codebases and making cost benefit tradeoff decisions.
