SRE with Java

Position Type: W2Location: Remote Note: Client is looking for a candidate who has experience in Java and lead experience with Terraform, Docker. Responsibilities: Java experience as a requirement, with Scala and Node.js as nice-to-haves. Most of the more-critical apps are Java, but we have Scala/Node.js apps we'd like to support if possible. Datadog experience including DD/app integration, APM, dashboards, custom metrics, monitors, logging. AWS experience including Aurora, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Lambda, SQS, S3. Deployment pipeline technology experience with Spinnaker, Kubernetes. An operational efficiency-focused mindset. Preventing on-call incidents and improving developer incident response. Identifying problem areas through independent review and team feedback. Improving the monitoring and alerting of web services and business workflows. Preventing bugs through automation, tooling, and SDLC improvements. This is a remote position.
