Responsibilities Assist in the development, review, updating, and communication of the SSSP to everyone including subcontractors. Collaborate with the craft every day in the field to encourage buy-in of our safety program. Exercise Stop Work Responsibility to ensure adherence to company policies and regulations. Plan, prioritize, and problem-solve with operations in the field every day. Encourage and advise staff and craft employees to execute the SSSP. Maintain project files in compliance with OSHA/MSHA regulations. Assist with first aid and maintain relationships with emergency medical services. Assist with incident investigations and implement effective solutions. Complete daily hazard inspections and assist with corrective actions. Review work plans and assist with safety training. Qualifications The ability to travel and relocate as required. OSHA 30, 500, and 510 certifications. 5+ years of heavy civil, transmission, substation, or distribution construction experience. Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field is preferred. 10+ years of construction safety experience in a field environment. Certification as a Safety Professional or Emergency Medical Technician is preferred. Working knowledge of computers and experience with Microsoft Word and Excel. The ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to access all points of a construction site in various climates and environments. CSP is a plus. Base Compensation: $100,068 - $150,102(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to factors such as education, experience, skillset, and/or location) This posting will be active from: 09/26/2024 - 11/01/2024.
