Uncommon Catalyst Inc. - IT Systems Analyst III Location: Haverhill, MA · Full time The IT System Analyst III is an exciting opportunity to work directly with clients and grow in an ever-changing industry. This role will be managing, researching, analyzing, and designing information systems to meet the needs of the client. Description Responsibilities: Provide support for clients in a courteous, patient, and understandable manner. Provide support for advanced problems escalated from Level 2 or Team Lead. Mentor Level 1 and Level 2 Analysts. Organize and manage projects, develop schedules, identify critical paths, and break down a project into individual tasks. Analyze and evaluate data and information. Draw valid conclusions and take appropriate actions/recommendations. Maintain awareness of the client environments and the ongoing efforts for each. Relay progress with other team members to ensure alignment. Maintain appropriate records (software licenses, services, assets, etc.) as required. Update and maintain confidential systems. Process orders from request to placement, fulfillment, and distribution, maintaining and delivering records of transactions. Provide research, data gathering, and analysis for Strategic clients. Assist in other areas as the need arises and time permits. Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Able to distill complex concepts to an approachable level for each person you interact with. Ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple simultaneous requests from clients. Record and assess priority, impact, and timeliness of each request. Manage expectations for commitments (both internal and client facing). Strong attention to detail. Willing to document as you go. Motivated to take on new responsibilities. Knowledge, curiosity, enthusiasm, and initiative for learning about technology and new techniques. Comfortable performing multiple activities simultaneously. Willing to explore new technologies and techniques. Expert knowledge supporting and administering Windows, MacOS, Linux, iOS, Android. Experience administering Cloud services (e.g., Google Workspace). Scripting and automation experience. Deep knowledge of networking (LAN, Wireless, Internet) and troubleshooting common failures. Experience with tools like Wireshark and NMAP for troubleshooting and security. Knowledge of disaster preparedness/business continuity principles. Advanced knowledge of security controls and their application. Experience administering multiple cloud/virtualization platforms (e.g., VMWare, HyperV). Experience troubleshooting complex issues involving multiple disparate systems. Exceptional candidates will possess: Working knowledge of NIST 800-171 / CMMC. Experience building and securing solutions with modern cloud components (e.g., Google Workspace, M365, AWS). Comfortable designing solutions for Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.
