Responsible for implementation, design, build, testing, optimization, upgrades, and support of Pharmacy applications. This includes Pharm Med Manager, 340B, adding new products and stacking that goes with that, Pyxis, BD solutions including IVPrep, Logistics, Multum, powerplans, IV Sets possible third party integration, as well as CCL report writing, Rules and Orders. Provide support to internal users of Palomar Health applications including Providers (physicians and Midlevels) and ensure maximum efficiency in the use of those applications. As a Systems Analyst III, you will consult with key stakeholders during implementations to deliver specific departmental configuration, testing and documentation. Respond to incidents for support by users. Test and coordinate testing of new releases of applications. Monitor future applications releases. Provide 24/7 on-call shift rotation for user support of applications. Represent users at workgroups at meetings. General supervision - works under standard operating procedures, some procedures may be well defined or a precedent may have already been established. The supervisor may not be always available or on-site. Employees have a large role in setting work objectives and organizing their work. Requires the use of considerable judgement where answers and solutions can only be found after careful and thoughtful analysis. Work is based on application of systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Work is based on design, development, documentation analysis, creation, testing, or modification of computer systems or programs, including prototypes, based on and related to user or system design specifications. Work is based on documentation, testing, creation, or modification of computer programs related to the design of software or hardware for computer operating systems. Work is highly dependent upon or facilitated by the use of computers and computer software programs and who is skilled in computer-aided design software. Work is based on writing material, including box labels, product descriptions, documentation, promotional materials, setup and installation instructions, and other similar written information, either for print or for onscreen media or who writes or provides content material intended to be read by customers, subscribers, or visitors to computer related media such as the world wide web or CD-ROMs. Speak and read English at a level that is sufficient to satisfactorily perform the essential functions of the position. Knowledge of and personal computer and computer software skills (i.e., MS Windows, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, internet, e-mail). Performs other duties as assigned.
