We are seeking an MS (MCITP) Microsoft Certified IT Professional Sr. System/Server Infrastructure Admin to maintain the day-to-day operations of the client 2008/2012 SQL Server as well as the Hypervisor Virtual Server environment. The ideal candidate must have proven hands-on experience with DNS, DFSR, Active Directory, Group Policy, Clustering, and SAN/Commvault for backup. Key Responsibilities: Ensure backup and recoverability of all enterprise SQL server databases. Ensure data security. Define and implement database access control policies and procedures. Advise on physical data model and implement changes. Responsible for capacity planning, working closely with the Infrastructure group to allocate appropriate database resources on servers. Contribute to the ongoing development of technology and production processes company-wide. Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment. Good communication skills are a big priority.
