Peoria St. Chicago, IL 60607 Summary The primary responsibility of the Junior Strategy and Data Analyst is to support strategic business initiatives by collecting and analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position is on-site, and we are looking for highly motivated and driven individuals looking to take their career in data analytics to the next level! Assist in developing business strategies through research and analysis of internal and external data, including market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs. Assist in identifying areas for improvement in business processes, operations, and performance; help design, optimize, and implement workflows and operational changes based on strategic goals. Support the implementation of operational changes and process improvements in accordance with strategic goals. Work within our CRM (Salesforce) for reporting and data collection. Gather, organize, and analyze data to reveal trends and insights that drive strategic decisions. Use tools like Excel, SQL, or data visualization software (Tableau, Power BI) to create reports. Support senior team members in creating presentations, reports, and recommendations for leadership. Support the execution of strategic projects, ensuring timelines and objectives are met. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align projects with business goals and drive successful outcomes. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of implemented strategies. Support senior team members in creating presentations, reports, and strategic recommendations for the executive team. Detail-oriented. Strong organizational skills. Project management. Ability to retain large amounts of information. Education and Experience Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Operations Management, or a related field. Skills Required Positive attitude and approach to job responsibilities and the Alma team. Power BI. Exposure to a CRM system (preference for Salesforce). Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). Proficiency in data analysis and modeling tools like Excel, SQL, and/or data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau). Intermediate project management skills and familiarity with tools like Wrike, Asana, or similar tools. Strong communication and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams. A problem-solving mindset and ability to adapt to new challenges. Salesforce experience preferred; CRM experience is a must. Supervisory Responsibility This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.
