Critical Infrastructure Project Manager

Lead the project management for critical infrastructure, telecommunication design/build projects. Projects are centered around electrical and HVAC infrastructure supporting customer's requirements. Responsibilities include client meetings, project planning, equipment selection and logistics, on-site management, and project closeouts. Ideal candidate would have business development experience and strong experience dealing with customers in the cable or telecom industry. Primary Job Duties: · Refine scope of work and detail sub contracts · Prepare customer proposals · Manage multiple projects in various stage of activities · Prepare and monitor project budgets · Participate in engineering process to control cost and client budget requirements of project · Develop project schedule and monitor/update as project progresses · Provide technical interpretation of design documents in support of installation superintendents and trades people · Provide specific expertise for problem solving · Provide technical evaluation of subcontractor and equipment proposals · Monitor and inspect construction to ensure compliance with design documents. · Coordinate completion of construction activities. · Prepare punch list to ensure the readiness of systems for turnover to the client. Experience and Skills: · 2-10 years' experience in construction project management · Understanding of commercial electrical and HVAC systems · Leadership and Organization skills · Winning mentality and team player · Knowledge of construction policies and procedures, with field experience a plus. · Experience with Microsoft Office · Preferred: experience with data centers and networking facilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
