Senior CNC Programmer and Machinist - Day Shift This full-time, permanent Senior CNC Programmer and Machinist position is a unique opportunity to join a highly respected fabrication firm known for its commitment to quality and employee satisfaction. Salary: Up to $72,800 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Program and operate CNC machines and routers using AutoCAD. Interpret and implement engineering designs accurately. Lead and mentor junior staff, helping to improve their skills and understanding of machine operations. Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in the workplace. Collaborate with the team to continuously improve processes and outcomes. Optimize machining processes and set-ups to increase efficiency and quality of finished parts. Minimum Position Qualifications: At least two years of experience in programming and operating CNC machines or routers. Minimum of one year experience in a lead or supervisory role within a technical or manufacturing setting. Proven track record of strong performance and reliable attendance. Must be a U.S. citizen or a Green Card holder. Must live within 45 minutes of Okauchee, Wisconsin to ensure timely and reliable attendance. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant engineering software. Experience in the fabrication industry, particularly with metal or similar materials. Capable of reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings and schematics. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Detailed knowledge of CNC machine programming and operation. Excellent problem-solving abilities to optimize machine operations. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for training and team interactions.
