Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist - Day Shift This full-time, permanent CNC Programmer and Machinist role offers an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected fabricator known for its exceptional treatment of employees and pristine work environment. Ideal candidates will bring a strong foundation in CNC and router programming with a proven leadership track record. Salary: Up to $72,800 per year Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Programming CNC machines and routers utilizing AutoCAD software to ensure high efficiency and accuracy in production tasks. Reading and interpreting engineering designs and specifications to effectively translate them into operational machine commands. Actively leading and training junior staff, imparting critical skills and fostering a collaborative work environment. Overseeing the execution of projects from conceptualization through to completion, ensuring adherence to quality and timeframes. Continuously evaluating and optimizing programming and operational procedures to enhance production efficiency and safety. Minimum Position Qualifications: Two or more years of hands-on experience in router programming or CNC programming. At least one year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrable history of stable and reliable work performance. Legal status as a U.S. citizen or Green Card holder. Residence within a 45-minute commute of the workplace in Okauchee, Wisconsin. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced certification in CNC programming or related technical fields. Experience in training and workforce development. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a focus on timeliness and quality. Skills: Expertise in AutoCAD and other computer-aided design software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team and liaise with other departments.
