The Role in Brief: The Senior Strategic Leader works in partnership with partners and with internal teams to shape direct marketing strategies for Adult Learner Recruitment (ALR) partners' recruitment initiatives. This hire will serve as the decision maker for their project team. The Senior Strategic Leader is responsible for delivering strategies and programs that achieve partner goals, partner renewals, and upsell and cross-sell targets appropriate to partners' goals, resources, and timelines. Primary Responsibilities: Develop an understanding of partner goals and keep abreast of changes in each partner's situation. Communicate these goals and changes to the project team. Lead and/or support testing and refinement of critical strategic and creative elements within the partner's program(s). Work with senior management to define appropriate, cost-effective cross-sell and upsell targets within partner book. Lead partners to understanding of cross-sell and upsell options and actively champion those likely to improve the partner situation. Support corporate process improvements, including escalated project timelines, etc. Serve as a professional example in behavior and attitude to project teams and support team members in professional growth. Collaborate with internal departments to seek new information and define new solutions that will improve partner success. Lead discussions and develop innovative plans to overcome obstacles for project teams and partner. Work collaboratively with others within the partner services division to identify and share new solutions that lead partners to positive outcomes. Lead meetings and conference calls with partners and project teams and involve project teams in partner meetings. Initiate project start up and problem solving meetings, ensuring team understanding and enthusiasm to successfully execute partner programs. Oversee strategic direction on creative content. In partnership with partner-facing team, review all creative materials from both a direct response and partner-appropriate standpoint. Conduct annual project reporting and planning for partners. Document partner and team feedback as it occurs and provide written positive feedback to team members as appropriate. Mentor account managers assigned within team to help position them for the next career opportunity. Basic Qualifications: 5 - 7+ years' experience in consultative, strategic, leadership positions managing accounts and relationships with key decision makers. Previous experience in the adult education market, in higher education enrollment strategy, or relevant marketing and partner management experience. Experience leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams. Experience aligning strategic insights and solutions to partner goals. Ability to present to partners and colleagues EAB's commitment to forward-leaning, innovative strategies that successfully achieve their desired outcomes. Proven relationship building and collaboration/teamwork orientation and ability to influence for win-win outcomes. Ability to approach situations in an entrepreneurial way and find opportunity for improvement/change. Ability to work independently and in a team environment and to plan, organize, set, and achieve priorities. Passion for both partner success and tackling new and emerging opportunities. Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. Willingness to travel up to 40 - 50%. Valid driver's license. Ideal Qualifications: Higher education experience in graduate or online program development, and/or higher ed admissions in the adult market. EAB institutional knowledge and experience. Compensation: The anticipated starting salary (base) range for this role is $85,000 - $112,000 per year. Actual salary varies due to factors that may include but not be limited to relevant experience, skills, and location. This hire will additionally be eligible for discretionary bonus or incentive compensation. Variable compensation may depend on various factors, such as individual and organizational performance.
