WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: We are looking for a researcher to join our growing UX research team, paving the way to create a more user-centered and data-driven product experience. Our team thrives on collaboration and digging in to fully understand any problem's context. As a UX Researcher at The Trade Desk, you will have a unique opportunity to shape our fast-growing platform used by thousands of people across the globe. You will help inform our product design process with qualitative and quantitative data, generate ideas, and expand our understanding of our users. We want our research to have a massive impact on the advertising ecosystem -- making advertising better for everyone involved - advertisers, publishers, and consumers. WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE: 6+ years of experience as a user researcher at a technology company. You have breadth and depth of expertise using a variety of research approaches to answer business questions and impact product strategy - from secondary synthesis, in-depth interviews, surveys, to creative design research methods. You work closely with stakeholders to translate business questions into crisp research objectives and devise research plans that incorporate timing and resource constraints. You thrive on executing in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable working on complex or ambiguous problems. You offer guidance to other researchers on research methodology, analysis, and communication of results. You are detail-oriented, rigorous, and holistic in your analysis and synthesis of qualitative research and know when to integrate or start with metrics. You are a storyteller and know how to deliver your research findings to communicate in a way that engages stakeholders and diverse audiences, including executives. You're an excellent communicator. You pride yourself on your clear verbal and written communication and your ability to tailor your communication for different audiences and modalities. You stay updated with user research trends, best practices, technologies, and tools. Research experience in B2B and advertising tech is a plus.
