A global leader in the apparel industry is seeking a Specialty Retail Sales Director to join their team in Orange County, California. This hybrid role offers flexibility (2-3 days remote) while staying connected to the LA market. In this individual contributor role, you'll drive growth in the Specialty Market, working with key retailers like BoxLunch, Hot Topic, and Forever 21. Your industry expertise and strategic vision will expand the company's footprint, foster lasting relationships, and deliver results. This role combines strategy and execution, leveraging your knowledge of Specialty Markets and licensing to identify opportunities, ensure profitability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. To qualify for this position, you must live within 25-30 miles of Los Angeles, California. Responsibilities Lead Specialty retailer sales strategy Manage strong and successful specialty accounts (10) Define and execute sales plans Achieve revenue and margin goals Analyse market trends and growth opportunities Serve as a trusted partner to top Specialty retailers Navigate licensing complexities Regularly review sell-through reports Monitor competitor activity Qualifications 5+ years of sales and merchandising experience in apparel required Specialty apparel market experience required (Forever 21, BoxLunch, Hot Topic, etc.) Proven experience working in the licensing space required Must be able to travel locally up to 25% #J-18808-Ljbffr
