Position Overview We're seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Retail Sales Associate to join our family-owned business. This role combines culinary enthusiasm with customer service excellence, helping food lovers access the finest cooking equipment and premium ingredients available. Have you worked in the kitchen but are looking for a quieter pace, more family-friendly hours?  Are you passionate about grilling, fine dining, special culinary techniques and want a place to share that enthusiasm?  We're looking for 1-2 associates to help grow our business both in-store and with our brands' distribution. Key Responsibilities Guide customers through our unique product offerings, from premium dry-aged meats to high-end grilling and dry aging equipment, cookware, cook books and more Process sales and provide detailed product information for both in-store and online purchases as part of our distribution branch. Create memorable customer experiences through expert product knowledge and personalized service Assist with buying, receiving, and inventory management Manage customer interactions from initial inquiry through final purchase Support both equipment sales and specialty food product purchases Document customer interactions and maintain accurate sales records Required Qualifications - Genuine passion for meat, grilling, and fine dining - Previous experience in specialty retail, food service, or hospitality - Strong communication skills and ability to build customer relationships - Self-motivated with excellent attention to detail - Reliable and committed to delivering exceptional service - Interest in culinary arts, travel, and cooking - Must be tech savvy and comfortable with computers/MS Office Suite and using other online platforms/applications Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Shopify POS and/or CRM systems - Background in specialty food or high-end retail - Knowledge of cooking equipment and techniques Schedule and Compensation - Part-time position (~20 hours per week) with possibility to turn full time after demonstrated potential - Starting pay: $22/hour + based on proven experience + commission on equipment sales - Paid training program - Must be available at least 2 weekends of the month; - Flexible scheduling for remaining days
