Water Truck Driver

Overview Position: Water Truck/Mixer Truck Driver Wage Range: $26 to $28 per hour WW CLYDE is seeking a Water Truck/Mixer Truck Driver with a tanker endorsement. Responsibilities: * Operate construction trucks in a safe and efficient manner, on and off highway. Trucks could include: water truck, mixer truck, dump truck. * Deliver concrete material to each job within the specifications as instructed on the delivery ticket. * Complete required driver logs & recordkeeping. * Perform Daily inspections and advise supervisor of repairs and maintenance required. * Read and understand operation manuals for trucks other equipment operating. * Recognize risks and hazards on job site working in close proximity with heavy equipment and crew members. * Assist and work with others on construction crews. * Driver will perform manual labor activities with paving crews. * Other duties as assigned * Record all information on delivery ticket, sign, and turn in delivery ticket to designated place. * Observe and obey all traffic laws when operating truck. QUALIFICATIONS: * 1-2 years of driving experience * Valid Class A or B CDL. * Tanker endorsement * Must have an insurable driving record * High levels of skill in performing duties listed above * Heavy civil construction, road building, and concrete experience preferred * Attention and commitment to safety * Ability to follow instructions and work cooperatively in a team environment * Must be at least 18 years of age * Ability to sit for long periods. * Ability to lift 65 lbs without assistance.
