Position SummaryThe Premier Lacrosse League is looking to hire a Producer/Editor to be responsible for planning, production, and editing Originals content for the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), the Women's Lacrosse League (WLL), and The Lacrosse Network (TLN). The role will focus on showcasing player, team and league stories in order to grow fan audience and engagement and drive revenue. Originals encompass unscripted documentaries and docuseries as well as shows/podcasts.Key Responsibilities:Originals ProjectsWork with the Director of Originals to develop and execute against an annual Originals content strategy and plan. Identify, ideate, develop, and present new and engaging stories and concepts based on evolving narratives throughout the lacrosse landscape.Execute on all production phases of Originals projects including development, pre-production, production, and post-production. Work and communicate with different stakeholders, both internal and external, in order to produce projects throughout the yearEnsure a consistent, high-quality output of Originals projectsPLL & WLL Event Coverage Travel to PLL events in order to capture Originals content Work with the broader production team to successfully capture and distribute content on event weekends Assist in organizing and managing PLL-owned production equipment Work with Media Management to properly log and organize Originals footage Collaboration & Cross-Functional AlignmentCollaborate with marketing, social media, and brand teams to promote Originals through creative campaigns and social contentWork with internal teams to optimize the release schedule of Originals Requirements/Skills/Abilities:3-5 years experience in long-form sports storytelling Edit proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro.Skilled in operating a variety of cameras including Sony line of camerasFundamental knowledge of lighting techniques Experience in podcast and audio equipment Ability to produce and edit high-quality content on tight deadlinesComfortable directing, producing, and filming in the fieldComfortable producing projects both individually and working with a teamDeep understanding of storytelling across various formatsStrong collaboration and time management skills.Experience in sports production; knowledge of lacrosse is a plusCompensation $70,000-$77,500Based on the candidate's experienceThe total compensation package includes Commission and Bonus, Health, Life, Dental, and Vision Insurance, 401(k) plan, Equity Sharing, Unlimited PTO, and Paid Parental LeaveWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
