Production Supervisor - Janus

Overview Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers, such as inspectors, machine operators, assemblers, fabricators, and material handlers, etc. Responsibilities * Direct and coordinate the activities of employees engaged in the production of goods. * Confer with other supervisors to coordinate operations and activities between departments. * Plan and establish work schedules, assignments, and production to meet goals. * Make decisions regarding hiring, discipline, coaching, promotion and termination of staff. * Perform reviews of staff and make recommendations regarding pay increases. * Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions. * Observe work to ensure that operators conform to production standards. * Conduct training in equipment operations or safety procedures. * Interpret specifications, job orders, and company policies and procedures for workers. * Read and analyze records and reports to determine production requirements. * Enforce safety and housekeeping regulations. * Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications * High school degree or equivalent required. Three to five years previous work-related experience. * Computer skills required; Outlook email, production systems, etc. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: * Regularly required to sit, stand, and walk.
