Job Summary The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for assisting the plants and purchasing in monitoring, managing, and maintaining the overall VMI inventory level. Principle Duties and Responsibilities Ability to provide direction to others and represent themselves as a leader Operate as Manager when Manager is off floor or not in building Expert understanding of all other material handling roles Complete understanding of all other departments, and how to interact with them Active communication with employees and upper management Capable of locating product, completing cycle counts and making all transactions required to confirm, verify or ensure inventory accuracy and financial accuracy is maintained Work directly with project management and project coordinators to expedite customer requests Must be able to complete and close jobs (gatekeeper) put the items into inventory and assigns the locations, have knowledge of how to manage excel based reports such as the negative report, manage inventory transfers, etc. Must be able to organize, plan, provide tools and information to prepare shipments for unloading or transit Inspect inbound or outbound goods and confirm that paperwork matches actual and address any discrepancies or damage with a lead or manager Be able to work independently while managing multiple priorities at the same time Complete cycle counts upon request and provide results back to lead or area manager Validate BOM's for accuracy and correct thru the CSF process Determines method, location and area of storage and provides data back to lead or manager for inventory transactions to be completed Show proficiency and accuracy in completing picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP system Must be responsible for specific tasks or roles as assigned (Receiving/ Shipping clerk) Operate all lift equipment but may be limited to lower rack heights or lower weight moves Scan QR and Bar codes and complete basic pick transactions Show proficiency and accuracy in completing picking and bin to bin transfers in the ERP system Qualifications * 5+ years of experience * Strong leadership skills Ability to read work orders/prints and have advanced computer skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills required Print reading ability Must be able to problem solve Must have knowledge of custom store fixture industry and receiving Ability to clearly identify product from package labels Exceptional attention to detail and quality Must also be willing to work flexible and overtime hours as needed The Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
