Team Member Benefits * Competitive base pay: $22 - $28 per hour, based on experience * Priority Health Medical Insurance Plans * Outstanding 401(k) plan, with up to 4% company match * Company profit-sharing * Dental / Vision * Paid vacation days * Team Member assistance program * Life, AD&D and LTD Insurance * Best-in-Class landscaping equipment and facilities * Top tier customer properties to take pride in servicing * Training & Development opportunities for all landscaping positions Desired Skills & Qualifications * The capacity to work independently or with a lawn care crew * The ability to identify common trees, shrubs, grasses, and weeds of Michigan * Knowledge of tree, shrub, and turf grass, lawn care health maintenance * Experience working safely and efficiently with pesticides and fertilizers, including the awareness of state pesticide regulations * Working knowledge of common pests found on trees, shrubs and lawns, their symptoms, and possible solutions. * The ability to operate and care for assigned equipment * A proven record of safety compliance and precision in completing tasks * Understanding of the pruning standards for trees and shrubs * Skill in reading map directions from a mobile device or hard copy * Desire to work daily at the highest level of professionalism, quality, and performance * Desire to work with a team to accomplish goals * Ability to bend, squat, and lift for long periods of time * Able to work outdoors in a wide variety of conditions for an extended period of time. Job Requirements * A valid Michigan commercial pesticide applicator with a minimum of certification in categories 3A, 3B and 6 * A valid Michigan chauffeur's license or Commercial Driver's License * Ability to read pesticide labels and accurately measure pesticides according to label rate * Experience in the safe use of pesticide application equipment and understanding of correct spill response methods DJ's Landscape Management is a drug-free workplace.
