This position will welcome visitors to the central office and ensure a consistent and positive experience for customers while supporting the administrative, financial and operational functions of the department. Education/Certification:An Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration, Business Management, Customer Service, or a related field preferred. 3-5 years of experience for those without a degree. Experience: Experience building relationships with and supporting key stakeholders and department leaders while performing a wide range of administrative duties Providing exceptional customer service and training others in effective customer service strategies in a fast-paced and sometimes challenging environment Collaborating with cross-functional teams Qualifications: Multilingual experience (including English proficiency) highly preferred, especially Spanish- and/or Somali-speaking proficiency Effective at working with people with diverse backgrounds and identities Evidence of dependability, accuracy, attention to detail, meeting deadlines, and project-management and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills necessary to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of students, staff, families, and external partners Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, manage sensitive and confidential issues, and/or refer issues to appropriate authority Commitment to being a collaborative team player and working cross-departmentally to achieve common goals Excellent grammar, spelling, punctuation and proofreading skills Applications Preferred by: This position will remain open until filled; however, applicants are encouraged to submit their applications right away.
