Director of Sales

Luxury lifestyle brand hotel in New York is in search of a magnetic Director of Sales with remarkable tenacity, a sharp leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, who's good-natured, a natural at relationship building, and puts their client's needs at the top of their priority list, while meeting (or surpassing) all revenue goals for the department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all activities related to the selling of memberships for this private members club. This role focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of property sales objectives and personal booking goals. This person will also take part in the building of the programing of this property.  This person must have a strong sales background and be able to focus on building the brand. REQUIREMENTS: • Passionate about hospitality sales and a minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable position and / or an equivalent combination of education and experience. • Extensive hotel sales experience within the luxury market; demonstrated strong leadership and selling skills; and proven achievements in selling, optimizing guest and team member engagement and financial performance. • An expert in Membership Sales, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance. • Excels at communication, both verbal and written. • Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekdays, weekends and holidays BENEFITS: • Salary plus commission/bonus • Health and Wellness- Competitive Medical, Dental and Vision • Retirement Planning • Paid Personal Days • Career Advancement : Were growing rapidly and with growth comes advancement opportunities • Professional Development Training • Team Member Recognition program - Earn rewards and pay it forward, while doing all the good you can!
