This role will require EPA Universal or Type II HVAC certification, rotating on-call availability, and effective verbal communication skills with residents and team members. Venterra Roving Maintenance Technicians enjoy competitive hourly pay + a performance-based bonus of up to $600 per quarter. Given that the main focus of this role will require travel throughout the Atlanta region, the ideal candidate will need to have a working vehicle that allows the ability to travel throughout the region, as needed. The Roving Maintenance Technician's role requires a wide range of various maintenance needs to assist on-site maintenance teams in the day-to-day operations of their properties. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following areas of routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance: * Electrical * Plumbing * HVAC * Appliance Repair * Locks & Keys * Basic Carpentry * Painting and Drywall Repair * Janitorial, Grounds Requirements of the Position: * Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal * Ability to take initiative and be a self-starter * Excellent customer service skills are a must * Prior experience in the facilities maintenance field * On-call coverage for emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays; Required as needed * Ability to respond and remedy maintenance issues in a timely manner * Reliable vehicle * Travel required Our Roving Maintenance Technicians provide support to the Regional Maintenance Managers and the Maintenance Managers at the communities they are assigned to support while assuming a leadership role in their absence. They provide quality service to our residents, diagnose problems, and make repairs. They are responsible for routine and preventative maintenance repairs, as well as ensuring that Venterra's 48-Hour Service Guarantee is adhered to when completing service requests.
