Senior Accountant McNally Restaurant Group - New York, NY   Job description: McNally Restaurant Group operates iconic downtown restaurants Balthazar, Minetta Tavern and Morandi. This is a great place to grow your career.   Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Reconcile daily sales to settlements Bank reconciliations Maintain general ledger and ensuring all financial transactions within the company are accounted for AR and AP reconciliations Intercompany reconciliations Maintain prepaid expenses and accruals Weekly payroll journal entries Assist with month-end close process Assist the controller as needed 1099s Commercial Rent Taxes Sales taxes   Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance is strongly preferred. 3+ years of accounting experience Working knowledge of GAAP Advanced Excel experience a must Restaurant365 or Compeat experience a plus Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organized and detailed oriented Able to work independently Must be able handle confidential information with discretion Strong communication skills, both verbal and written Prior hospitality experience strongly preferred Job Type: Full-time   Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Physical Setting:   Office Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: In person   Education: Bachelor's (Preferred) Experience: Accounting: 3 years (Required)   Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year based on experience
