We are seeking a Private Events Coordinator with excellent organizational, planning and time management skills with the capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously, and is comfortable and successful in a fast-paced environment. Candidates must have at least two years of experience in events, banquets or food and beverage operations. High potential for growth into Events Sales. Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of banquets including set-up, execution, and breakdown to ensure smooth operations Greet host/clients on site at the beginning of an event to ensure client is content and adjust last minute details Update menus, information packets and floor plans Ensure event is entered in Resy Assist the Private Events Director in all aspects of the administration of the Events Department, including production, event document production, room set-up details, coordination of rentals, florals, A/V, etc. Requirements: 2 years of experience, preferably in fine dining Previous Banquet Captain or sales experience preferred Excellent written and verbal skills Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays, and variable schedule, per the needs of the business Appreciation and knowledge of food, wine and hospitality Compensation Details Compensation: Hourly ($22.00 - $24.00) plus tips Benefits and Perks: Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Paid Time Off, 401k, Commuter Benefits, Dining Discounts Position requires: Daytime and weekend availability Reference check The Dinex Group LLC is an equal opportunity employer.
