Production Supervisor

Leading food manufacturing company is looking for multiple Production Supervisors to add to their growing team. The Production Supervisors will supervise their assigned department to meet quality and production performance standards. Responsibilities include: - Assuring that all employees follow safety, food safety, and food quality rules and regulations. Assuring that all employees are properly trained and are performing duties in these areas- Monitoring adherence to standard operating procedures - Supervising and coordinating all departmental activities prior to the beginning of each shift - Assigning job tasks to departmental employees as dictated by day to day production requirements - Monitoring condition of all equipment in assigned department, submits appropriate requests for repairs- Working closely with superintendent to discuss problems, schedules, safety, etc.- Accountable for results in terms of cost, budgets, methods, safety, quality of production, etc.Job RequirementsRequirements: - High school education required, college degree in management or a related field preferred - 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or pharmaceutical manufacturing- Strong people management skills - Basic technical knowledge
