Job DescriptionThe Stellantis Transport organization (with three terminals located in Detroit, Toledo, and Windsor, Ontario) utilizes top of the line equipment and employs over 700 employees.Stellantis Transport - Toledo Terminal Truck Drivers are needed to support same day dedicated routes through Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, or to provide trailer transferring services between a dock and trailer holding area (switching) at a specific facility. About 90% of the loads Stellantis Transport hauls are "drop and hook" and "no touch freight". All routes require a Class A CDL license.RequirementsBasic Qualifications:Three (3) years Class A CDL verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience OR 1 year experience with a certificate or degree from an accredited Truck Driving SchoolAbility to work any shiftAbility to drive city, over the road (same-day routes), and provide on-site trailer switchingNo current medical variance restrictionsSatisfactory motor vehicle report and accident history (no DUI or OWI)49 CFR Safe Operations Regulations knowledgeAdvanced vehicle control skillsPreferred Qualifications:Auto component hauling, LTL or steel hauling experienceJust in Time (JIT) experienceIntroductory level computing skill setsGood communication skillsWillingness to work in a team environmentAt Stellantis, we assess candidates based on qualifications, merit and business needs.
