As a Senior Mobile Service Technician, you will focus on the direction and overall success of MST. You will bring experience in the field, a passion for the success of MST and StandardAero combined, attentiveness to our customers and vision for the future. You will be focused on where our team can grow, provide mentorship to fellow technicians and have the ability to see the big picture with leading others in "One Team, One Purpose" mentality. What you'll do: (Not listed in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned.) * Provides technical support and maintenance to customers in the field by dismantling, cleaning, repairing, inspection, assembly and/or testing customer engines or accessories. * Assures that all services rendered are in compliance with customer, regulatory and company requirements. * Accomplish duties in a manner that presents an image of professionalism to the customers both internal and external that is the embodiment of customer service. * Perform any appropriate inspection they are certified to perform following completion of engine repairs and modifications and the inspection of powerplants following their installation into the aircraft for final acceptance and release to service. * Make airworthiness determinations and providing suitable certification for the work performed including the Final Inspection and "Return to Service" of any work accomplished within the Repair Station's rating. * Gathering / ordering parts as required for job and shipping to job site. * Ensures that safe work practices are employed consistently on each job site. * Perform final walk around inspections of both engine and aircraft before aircraft departure. * Follow the MST Standard Operating Procedure for Technician Arrival Checklist and Technician RTS & Delivery Checklist. * Provides technical guidance to technicians on aircraft maintenance configurations, as well as service bulletins, directives, and enhancements. * Train and mentor other MST technicians to the point of engine line quality sign off. * Creates new Salesforce work types and reviews current work types for accuracy along with providing changes and updates as needed. * Accomplishes final review of work order documentation for yourself and others prior to submitting to quality. * Follow the Mobile Service Team Operating Handbook & Procedures. Qualifications: * 7 or more years of experience working in Mobile Service or similar role. * Previous experience leading aircraft/engine maintenance operations. * Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally with peers, clients, and public. * Ability to get along with co-workers and peers. * Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality within customary tolerances. * Ability to be patient and have a positive attitude when working with customers or internal team members, including high stress situations. * Ability to effectively communicate with our customers along with leading conversations between the customer and MST department in a clear and professional manner via e-mail or verbally. * Ability to work simultaneously on multiple tasks. * Ability to identify and improving inefficiencies to improve turnaround time and work performance. * Have advanced technical knowledge to perform hands on maintenance of Engine R&R's, Engine and Airframe QEC change, Engine Troubleshooting, Engine Downloads, Airframe to Engine Interface, Engine Borescope, Engine and Airframe LRU Change, Engine Inspections, Engine Performance Runs, Engine Vibration Survey and Fan Balance, Engine Rigging & Adjustments, Engine and Accessory Repair, and other maintenance related tasks completed in the field. * Ability to demonstrate and provide written records of qualifications on maintenance tasks above on a minimum of 3 product lines below: * TFE731 * PT6A * PW300 * PW500 * JT15D * TAY * HTF7000 * GTCP 36 APU * BR710 * CFM56 * LEAP * CF34 * AE3007 * CFE738 * College degree OR high school graduate with technical vocational training and knowledge normally achieved through graduation from a university, trade school or military aircraft maintenance program, or an equivalent apprenticeship program. * Must possess effective written and verbal communications skills. * Must have proper hand tools. * Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language. * Must have A&P License. * Must possess a valid driver's license. * Should be able to demonstrate a high proficiency with Salesforce field service mobile app as well as other corporate or industry software used in the position like Microsoft Word and Excel. * Must be authorized to work in the US.
