National Account Manager Location: Hybrid, based in St. Louis, Missouri Company: Anova Furnishings About Anova Furnishings: Anova Furnishings is a family-owned business with over 50 years of experience in the industry. Position Overview: The National Account Manager will be responsible for managing existing national partners and generating new business within a specific vertical in the outdoor furnishings and fixtures industry. This dual role focuses on both account management and business development in the U.S. This is a hybrid role, offering a mix of remote work and in-office presence based in St. Louis, Missouri. This is a new and exciting long-term opportunity for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and nurture relationships with existing national partners. * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within a designated vertical. * Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals. * Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends. * Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals. * Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet or exceed targets. * Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project delivery. * Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in CRM systems. * Identify and participate in relevant industry events and trade shows to network and promote Anova Furnishings. * Ensure prompt and effective customer service and response times. * Secure appointments for quarterly reviews with national partners. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Success: * Account Retention and Growth: Retain and grow existing accounts. * Sales Pipeline: Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline. * Behavior Targets: Meet and exceed monthly behavior targets, including strategic meetings, presentations, opportunity meetings, networking events, and referrals. * Territory Planning: Successfully build out full territory plans within 12 months. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Business or Marketing, or equivalent experience. * At least 2 years of proven experience in B2B sales, with a focus on generating new business and account management. * Preferred but not required: Understanding of the outdoor furnishings and fixtures industry. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficiency in CRM software, with Salesforce experience preferred. * Ability to travel for outbound sales 45% of the time.
