This position is for a motivated, career-minded individual with a passion for efficiency and process to lead employees in a positive way toward set goals.1st Shift - 6:45am-3:45pm (Monday-Friday)Essential Functions:Ensure the safety of employees in your areaWork with scheduling and other leaders to monitor production flow to ensure all orders are completed on timeLead team and motivate in a positive wayEnsure that established processes and procedures are being followed with regard to employee manual, standard work procedures, and department guidelinesParticipate in efficiency process testing to establish or change procedures to ensure best practices and quality outputConduct or participate in performance reviews for employees within responsibilityAssist in root/cause analysisWork with other departments to resolve corrective actionFollow established timelines to ensure timely graphic and product releases for all projectsLead, or participate in proper training for all new employees and those assigned to a new position to ensure they understand standard work for assigned areaRequirementsQualifications & Skills:4-year college degree or equivalent experience in similar fieldExperience in textile manufacturing is a plusLean manufacturing or similar experience a plusExperience in screen printing is a plusAbility to demonstrate high standards for safety, quality, and efficiencyExcellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills with employees and all levels of manufacturingAbility to motivate employees in a positive manner and instill a passion to follow best practicesAbility to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work overtimeWorking knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access a plusPhysical Requirements & Conditions:Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist on a regular basisAbility to stand and walk for 8+ hours per dayUse their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controlsAbility to listen to complex machinery equipment in order to assist with trouble shootingWhy You Should Work for Us:Employee-Owned: As an employee-owner, your contributions help grow the business, and in turn, your shares in our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) increase.
