Description Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Customer Support Specialist to provide exceptional service to external clients. The ideal candidate will manage the order entry process, assist customers with details, estimated delivery times (ETAs), and product information, and collaborate closely with the sales and operations teams. Proficiency in Oracle and a strong focus on accuracy, communication, and customer satisfaction are essential. Key Responsibilities + Order Management + Process customer orders accurately and efficiently within the Oracle ERP system. + Ensure order details align with customer requirements, pricing agreements, and inventory availability. + Monitor and manage open orders to ensure timely fulfillment and delivery. + Customer Assistance and respond promptly to customer inquiries regarding product availability, pricing, ETAs, and order status. + Provide detailed product information and technical specifications to customers as needed. + Address and resolve customer concerns, escalating complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary. + B2B Sales Support and assist the sales team in managing customer accounts, including preparing quotes, proposals, and contracts. + Develop and maintain strong relationships with key B2B customers to ensure ongoing satisfaction and retention. + Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products and services based on customer needs. + System & Data Management; Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer and order data in Oracle. + Generate reports on sales performance, customer activity, and order trends as required. + Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies or data issues promptly. + Cross-Functional Collaboration + Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to provide accurate ETAs and delivery updates. + Work closely with warehousing and sales teams to stay informed about updates, changes, and promotions. + Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing feedback on processes and tools. Requirements - Proficiency in Computer Programs is essential for this role - Experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software is required - Ability to handle Answering Inbound Calls efficiently and professionally - Demonstrated skills in Assisting Customers to resolve their issues - Familiarity with Oracle software is a plus - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially for filtering and formatting high volume data surrounding products and back orders TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
