Job Summary We are seeking a Senior Customer Service Representative to serve as the primary point of contact for patients and visitors accessing Client academic medical centers and the Client Health Sciences Campus. This role involves managing incoming and outgoing communications, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, multitasking abilities, and experience in a call center and healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities • Answer, screen, and direct incoming and outgoing telephone calls and electronic messages using a call management system. • Respond to basic inquiries and refer more complex inquiries to appropriate medical personnel. • Schedule and confirm initial and follow-up medical appointments. • Register patients, verify insurance coverage, and advise patients of estimated financial responsibilities. • Perform data entry and ensure the integrity of patient information. • Distribute messages to medical personnel using text, voice, and email systems. • Reconcile data and ensure accuracy as needed. Required Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a call center, customer service, or healthcare environment. • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Vocational certificates in healthcare, such as appointment scheduling, registration, insurance verification, or medical assistance. • Associate or bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or operations.
