Ice skating skills preferred for the Edge Day Camp Positions. Day Camp Supervisor- Both sites (Requires age 18; HS Diploma; Valid Driver's License). Experience in Education field or working with children in school, after-school, or day care setting preferred. Youth program planning experience also preferred). $14.50 Day Camp Counselor- Both sites (Requires age 16) $12.55 Day Camp Assistant Counselor-Both sites (Requires age 15) $12.32 FISHER PARK (February-November): Recreation Facility Supervisor (Requires age 18; HS diploma; $15.81 Valid Driver's License) Recreation Facility Worker (Requires age 16) $12.32 Laborer (Requires age 18; Valid Driver's License) $14.50 SWIMMING POOLS (COMBEST & CRAVENS; May-August): Combest Pool Asst. Manager (Requires age 18; HS diploma; $15.81 Valid Driver's License) Cravens Pool Asst. Manager (Requires age 18; HS diploma; $14.92 Valid Driver's License) Lifeguard (Requires age 15; Lifeguard Certification, paid for $14.50 by the City of Owensboro after passing post-offer requirements) Recreation Facility Worker (Requires age 15) $12.32 GOLF COURSES (Year-round): Golf Course Attendant (Requires age 18) $14.50 Golf Course Laborer (Requires age 16; Valid Driver's License) $14.50 SMOTHERS PARK (Year-round): Recreation Facility Supervisor (Requires age 18; HS diploma; $15.81 Valid Driver's License) Recreation Facility Worker (Requires age 16) $12.32 Day Camp Supervisor: Plans, organizes, and enacts the Day Camp Program; assists in problem-solving concerning the participants; schedules activities; conducts special events. Day Camp Counselor: Provides supervision and care for the participants at Day C plans and leads daily activities, field trips, sports, special events, community projects, music, etc. Day Camp Assistant Counselor: Provides care for the participants at Day C helps the Day Camp Counselor plan and lead daily activities, field trips, sports, special events, community projects, music, etc. Recreation Facility Supervisor (Fisher Park): Assist the Recreation Facilities Manager with cleanliness, safety, management, scheduling, and supervision of facility, leagues, and staff. Pool Assistant Manager (Combest & Cravens): Assists with safety, management, scheduling, customer service, cleanliness, and supervision of pool and staff. Lifeguard: Enforce pool regulations and provide safety at the pools. Recreation Facility Supervisor (Smothers Park): Oversees operations of and citizen usage of Smothers Park. The Supervisor is responsible for safety, management, training, cleanliness, customer service, and supervision of Smothers Park and park staff. Recreation Facility Worker (All facilities): Serves concession items, rink guarding, scorekeeping, and assisting with special events as needed. Golf Course Attendant: Handles daily duties for the golf course, including pro-shop activities and course maintenance. Golf Course Laborer: Performs general to skilled labor and maintenance as needed for the golf courses.
