Location: Remote (US) Salary: Non-Exempt $33.65/hourly ($70k base) plus commission (100k+ total compensation potential) Summary of Overall Job: e.Republic is a leading organization focused on empowering state and local government and education through data, media, and events. Responsible for the sales of all e.Republic products and services to companies in the state, local and education markets. Essential Duties: * Maintains current customer base for assigned accounts. Being able to consult and provide the existing customers knowledge on our products, gets re-signs, and promotes add-on sales of event sponsorships, custom publications, ad space, web advertising, research, Navigator, Governing products, etc. * Maintains long lasting customer relationships. Can build a better customer relationship by understanding their needs and tries to make them satisfied without compromising with the company profits. * Gains a sound understanding of State and Local Government and Education markets and is able to consult our clients on those topics. * Achieve and maintain a sufficient understanding of all Republic's brands, products and services. Can consult customers on which solutions will fit the customer's needs. * Carry the sales process from the original sale all the way through to delivery, and can troubleshoot and liaise with other departments and managers as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction. * Understand the company's resources, including other various internal roles and departments of the company; and is thus able to tag them on client calls as consultants in their conversations. * Capable of seeking out new customers and sales opportunities to expand and build the partnership empire. * Responds to all leads assigned within 24 business hours. * Provides proposals out within 48 hours of request or client appointments. * As a Strategic Account Manager, is consistently tracking with the team and their own individual assigned revenue targets or production quota. * Travels to sites as necessary to develop client relations and creates future partnerships. Acts as a representative of the company and can network at events to attract more clients and build our partnership base. Minimum travel expected 6-8 times per year. * Develops and composes contract proposals containing all essential and tailored solutions, using our products and services. * Communicates the value proposals through effective and professional sales presentations (digital and hard copy) in person, a group or through an online medium. * Coordinates actions with the Sales Admin to ensure Salesforce database is current and accurate, as well as coordinates all other sales administrative duties effectively as a team with the admin. * Stays abreast of current trends and educates oneself to keep knowledge up to date. * Develops existing and new opportunities. * Maintains outreach statistics, such as Developed Opportunities, Pitches, Email Outflow Campaigns, etc. Skills/Qualifications: * Prior sales experience of at least 2 years required. * Outstanding written and verbal communication and negotiation skills. * Ability to work productively under high sales pressure and quotas. * Can adapt to a quickly changing group environment. * Ability to present to potential clients. * Ability to maintain a consistent level of sales. * Ability to work well with a team. * Has a passion and motivation for sales. * Has excellent customer service skills. * Must be in a work environment with reliable Internet access. * Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Chat GPT. * Salesforce experience is a plus. * Experience in Sale of Advertising, Events, Research, Customized Media an Online products and services is a plus. * Track record of meeting and exceeding past sales goals. * Experience with selling into public sector is a plus. *
