Supervisor Production - 2nd shift Injection

Job Description Job Description Job Summary: The Supervisor Production is responsible for directing all activities within the assigned area of the production departments. Ensures the on-time production of quality products while handling the daily supervision of the departmental personnel. Essential functions of the job: * Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing operation to ensure the obtainment of production schedules Plan and schedule personnel incooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work). * Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start upmeeting. * Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policiesand standards are followed. * Train and monitor employee performance to ensureoperator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets. * Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel. * Ensure job training anddaily job rotations are in place and enforced. * Ensure compliance of team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs, and procedures that pertain to production teammembers. * Monitor quality of product throughout the production process. * Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives. * Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities. Required Education: * High School Graduate or Equivalent. * *Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions. * Required qualifications: * 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production. * 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry. * Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces. * Computer literacy. * Proficient organizational skills. * Excellent oral communication skills.
