Based in New York, their head office houses a collaborative core team of traders, researchers, and developers who work closely together to identify, develop, and execute cutting-edge trading strategies. Role Overview: The firm are looking for a Junior Trader to join their core trading team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about trading and strategy development to work alongside the firm's founders and senior management team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in trading, strategy design, algorithm development, and alpha generation, all while directly collaborating with the core team of traders, developers, and researchers. Key Responsibilities: Trade financial instruments in the options market-making space, leveraging your expertise and collaborating with the broader team. Develop and implement trading strategies to maximize profit potential. Work with algorithms and data analysis to enhance and optimize trading decisions. Continuously generate alpha through innovative, data-driven approaches. Collaborate with senior traders, researchers, and developers to refine strategies and improve overall trading performance. Qualifications: Graduate with a technical degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or similar. Solid foundation in quantitative analysis and strong mathematical ability. Some experience in options trading, either through internships or a full-time role in an options trading/market making environment. A proactive, collaborative, and results-driven mindset.
