Associate Compliance Specialist NY

We are working with a high performing hedge fund that is looking to hire a Compliance Associate, joining the compliance team in New York. Reporting into the Chief Compliance Officer, this will be a broad generalised compliance role with full exposure across the business. Duties include: Overseeing the Code of Ethics process Provide regulatory advice to the business Review and approve marketing materials reviews, providing advice to the marketing department Regulatory horizon scanning for new rules and regulations affecting the business Assist the wider team with regulatory reporting processes Conduct surveillance, monitoring and testing This is a great opportunity for a compliance professional to join a reputable hedge fund in New York. We are looking for two levels of experience: Compliance Associate - 5+ years experience - $125,000-175,000Compliance Analyst - 3-5 years experience - $100,000-125,000 The ideal candidate(s) will have buy-side experience, either working within a hedge fund or regulatory consultancy. Strong control room/code of ethics experience is advantageous, along with good working knowledge of regulatory reporting.
