SUMMARY OF DUTIES: Under the general direction of the Bureau Chief of Transportation, Traffic and Parking, performs professional tasks relating to transportation planning, including transportation project development, implementation management and other transportation studies as needed; does related work as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Transportation Planning or a related field and two (2) years of experience in traffic engineering and/or transportation planning. NOTE: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's degree in Urban Planning with emphasis on Transportation may substitute for one (1) year of required work experience. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Possession of a valid Motor Vehicle Operator's license at time of appointment.
