This is a permanent full-time position represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU). What you will do! The primary purpose of this position is to provide secretarial support services for the OSD Principal and the Educational Support Services Department. Typical Duties Include: * IEP Coordination and Documentation * Student Records Management * Administrative and Secretarial Support Please click here to view the full position description What we are looking for: * Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR an associate degree in any field; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. * ASL certification at ASLPI Level 2. Staff obtaining certification at Level 2 are eligible for a five percent (5%) bilingual differential. Fingerprinting, Background Check, and Drug Screening: * Applicants will be subject to a finger-print based criminal history check including driving record. * Adverse background data may be grounds for immediate disqualification. Conviction of a crime will not automatically preclude an appointment.
