SUMMARY Participates as a TEAM member within the Operations Department. This NAR Associate works closely to ensure that all Assembly Operations' Manufacturing Order (MO) and Device History Record (DHR) kit assembly documentation is completed accurately and within prescribed timelines, for both NAR and business partner South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department (SCVRD). Primary function is to complete IT system "RECEIVING" transactions related to kit assembly activities and to review related hard copy documents for accuracy and completeness; then to properly file same for record retention consistent with NAR Quality System requirements. Secondary responsibilities involve the creation and scheduling of MOs from bill of materials (BOM), reversing of assembly receipts and reconciling SCVRD billing reports vs. NAR System Reports and their distribution. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES This is not an all-inclusive list of duties and responsibilities. Projects/duties may be modified/changed/added/deleted as needed. * Know/understand NAR Products, as directed; their quality requirements (specifications/tolerances/lot control, etc.) * Know/understand NAR Product "direct packaging" requirements, such as those that must be vacuum packed, and non-vacuum packed * Know/understand the related/necessary assembly processing requirements that NAR Products must undergo. * Review DHR's and MOs for accuracy and proper completion; consult with the originator to correct any inaccuracies; ultimately, file all completed DHRs and MOs in proper order * Create and schedule MO's from BOMs. * Process the receiving transactions of all MOs and how to reverse assembly receipts; recognize when/how to receive sub-BOMs. * Reconcile SCVRD billing report(s) vs. GP/MS-Dynamics report(s) and distribute same to the OPS Dept. * Create specialty contents cards utilizing the DaVinci Software/NAR Intranet tools and distribute same to the appropriate workers in NAR/SCVRD Assembly Operations * Organize and manage the inventory of produced & filed contents cards. Ability to review said contents for accuracy and correct Rev date. * Assist as directed with the "picking" of MO content items. * Assist with the confirmation of "review for accuracy" on product labels. * Assist with the replenishment of back flush product. * Assist with quality assurance review of Inbound and Assembly product items. * Create labels/DHRs for MOs for assembly at other SCVRD Work Centers. * Cooperate with fellow Ops Dept Team Members, and all other NAR Associates to provide "Internal Customer" support, as required. * Cooperate/take direction/support Manager, Assembly Operations; and all other executive management personnel, to support internal/external "Stakeholders". SUPPLEMENTAL RESPONSIBILITIES * Completes any other duties and/ or projects assigned by the supervisor * Other duties as assigned AUTHORITY * After review of NAR Quality System documents, such as NAR DHRs and MOs, and upon any discrepancy findings is empowered to seek and obtain appropriate corrections from subject document initiator(s) * Empowered to create NAR MOs for backflush of BOMs * Empowered to process receiving transaction of all MOs, to reverse NAR Assembly receipts and to receive sub-BOMs * Empowered to reconcile SCVRD Billing reports * Empowered to create NAR Item Specialty Kit Contents Cards * Occasionally, may be empowered by Manager, Assembly Operations to train/direct/supervise other NAR and/or SCVRD Client/Supervisory Personnel as directed * Occasionally, may be empowered by the Manager/Supervisor, Assembly Operations, on the collection and processing of temporary employees timesheets. ACCOUNTABILITY * Demonstrate capability and become cross-trained to provide strong assistance for NAR Regulatory and QMS support, specifically in the areas of: * Internal Quality Auditing * UDI Issuance * "Other" support work as identified by the Director, Regulatory Affairs * Assist in the role as a backup of daily receiving acceptance of all previous days' inbound products. And record acceptance/disposition/or refusal of said products. QUALIFICATIONS Education: * Graduation from High School and/or Trade School is preferred. Experience: * One (1) year experience working in a warehouse/distribution environment is preferred. Previous forklift/materials handling experience is preferred. * Demonstrated knowledge and basic experience ability to use company software system(s), such as GP/MS-Dynamics and MS-Excel spreadsheet creation and interpretation is preferred; job shop/production schedule execution experience is preferred. Travel * Must have transportation to and from NAR, LLC 35 Tedwall Ct.
