KRA Contribution to data platform Develop, deliver and deploy Data models for ML/AI use cases Develop framework and ensure Data Quality Support Digital Projects and Initiatives Job Role Sr. Data Scientist will be required to design, develop, and implement enterprise level ML/ AI models to transform and improve company's business results and competitive position & ensure alignment to the overall digital strategy and current and future business objectives. He/ she will design framework and deployment strategy for complex data models creation and deployment which has inter and intra business division applicability. Job Description Contribution to Data Platform Work within Digital Data Team and assisting Head of Data Platforms in development of data scientist focused strategy for GEG to support delivery on defined objectives. Deliver a strong framework of data models and direction to the internal and external opportunities and disruptions by identifying the areas of change that help deliver the desired business outcomes and better value to internal customers. Design, implement, and evolve robust, secure and effectively aligned architecture solutions that operate in the business ecosystem. Develop Digital Infrastructure and ensure Data Quality Define exploratory data analysis (EDA) keeping in line with structural necessities and monitor implementation of the same in a timely manner. Ensure the development of data quality procedures and standards by certifying technological processes, qualifying products and supervising tests. Manage various data associate problems such as data cleansing, sourcing and integrating from multiple platforms. Creating and maintaining execution environment for data models across diverse environments. Develop and deliver Data Solutions Deliver via hands on contribution proposed solutions, working in cross- functional or agile teams to develop and deliver significant aspects of the development program. Lead and mentor junior data scientists and ensure availability of necessary data and analytics support to all business units and corporate functions. Conduct diagnostic across existing data models and make future state recommendations in regular intervals. Collaborate with Business Analyst, Data scientists, Data Engineers and Data Analysts to ensure understanding and alignment between business needs and technical implementation. Monitor performance of existing data models across use cases to identify and drive optimization. Developing and implementing NLP models using transformer architecture and processing high volume data. Research, develop and analyze computer vision algorithms in areas related to object detection, tracking, product identification and verification, scene understanding. Ensure model robustness, model generalization, accuracy, testability, and efficiency. Write product or system development code. Contributing via understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including clustering, anomaly detection, optimization, neural network etc. Responsible for deploying AI/ML models (ML Ops) in standalone and cloud based systems and services. Support Digital Projects and Initiatives Collaborate with business unit heads and corporate functions to identify and assist in providing data science support across different projects such as digital platform implementations etc. Oversee and identify data solutions from legacy systems, business pain areas to new solutions based on requirement. Provide necessary technical support in new and ongoing digital initiatives to ensure seamless data solutioning. Requisite Qualification Essential B.Tech. in Computer Science/ IT/ Data Science Preferred M Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Data Science Any Data Science or Data Engineer Certification Requisite Experience Essential 10 Yrs with experience in designing, building, and maintaining various ML models and Data Science (3+ years of experience in each of the Data Science variant like NLP, Demand Forecasting, ML Ops) Preferred Sound understanding of Data Engineering to support the preparatory work for data models. Experience working in the SCRUM Environment. Experience in Administration (Windows/Unix/Network/Database/Hadoop) is a plus. Knowledge in all aspects of MLOps (source control, continuous integration, deployments, etc.). Experience/ Exposure with Cloud services like AWS. Special Skills Required Functional: Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, including clustering, anomaly detection, optimization, neural network etc. Strong hands-on coding skills in Python, processing large-scale data set and developing machine learning models. Experience programming in Python, R, and SQL. Expertise in developing ML models and deployment of the same. Hands on working on developing NLP models using transformers and computer vision. Deep expertise in deploying AI/ML models (ML Ops) in standalone and cloud based systems and services. Comfortable working with DevOps: Jenkins, Bitbucket, CI/CD. SQL Server experience required. Sound understanding of BI Best Practices/Methodologies, relational structures, dimensional data modelling, structured query language (SQL) skills, data warehouse and reporting techniques. Data Governance & Ethics. Leadership: Strong analytical skills, ability to ask right questions, analyze data and draw conclusion by making appropriate assumptions, to solve and model complex business requirements. Ability to lead team of junior data scientists, get into the details of the problem and ability to code the solution hands on as and when needed. Planning & Organizing. Communicate and Engage.
