Overview: Outdoor Media Group (OMG), the Out-of-Home (OOH) media division of Omnicom Media Group, is a leader in the OOH media industry with top tier clients in a leading agency network. We are headquartered in the New York area but have a presence in 19 cities. Managing multi-million-dollar budgets and working with all accounts in our agency's outstanding roster of clients, we are one of the largest Outdoor Media buying groups in the world. We strive to connect our deep expertise in OOH media and markets with the latest data and technology fueling the continued growth of location-based media. We are looking for an experienced Supervisor with 3+ years experience in OOH planning/buying to join our dynamic team. You will report directly to the Director and serve as one of the team's direct lines of communication between clients, agencies, and partners. The Supervisor position requires a combination of client service, media buying and planning skills. This role functions as the day-to-day steward on assigned accounts and will develop a thorough understanding of core media concepts, from planning to negotiating and strategic implementation. You will be responsible for client relationships, media strategy and managing junior staff. Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree required * 3+ years' OOH planning/buying experience in the media industry preferred * Experience with direct client service and account/project management * Microsoft office proficiency - specifically Excel, PowerPoint, and Word * Demonstrate a consistent "above and beyond" work ethic in the tasks you complete * Foundation level relationships with key media owners * Understanding of core OOH concepts with knowledge of all formats * Excellent understanding of how systems and tools contribute to the overarching success of the planning process Responsibilities: Management: * Effectively communicate with agencies, clients and other OMG offices in a positive, productive and informed manner in order to develop and maintain effective relationships * Directly supervise employees in Account Services and provide training and assistance in their daily responsibilities * Manage the flow of client media-related issues based on changes in direction, goals, and budgets. Be aware of the need to create solutions and resolve problems * Establish timetable for the development of a plan by delegating assignments to Account Executives and Assistant Account Executives, reviewing their work, and providing guidance and training * Interview applicants for Account Executive and Assistant Account Executive positions Media Strategy: * Manage the day-to-day activities of the account service and media buying for clients, which includes planning, negotiating, buying and operations processes * Develop, write and present OOH plans and recommendations for existing and prospective clients * Evaluate competitive activity in the marketplace * Understand - provide insights into consumers, brand, product and media * Design - identify behaviors, barriers, drivers and apertures; develop communication strategies * Create - create specific tangible executional ideas * Capitalize - bring activity schedule to life; encompass negotiation strategies and implementation of the buy * Assess media performance in order to determine the extent to which the original objectives and strategies were accomplished Maintenance: * Strategically lead agency/client in their OOH efforts. Proactively manage, maintain and direct all OOH business * Guide the account(s) to profitability and stability by growing business of existing accounts and developing new sources of revenue * Provide monthly income projections to Managing Director, OOH * Inspect markets and OOH programs with plant operators and clients (when appropriate) * Provide point-of-view on various media in the marketplace * Handle any client requests - i.e. plan changes, budget changes, provide marketplace information Media Expertise: * Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of OOH opportunities, market developments, trends and media research * Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of non-traditional OOH companies and media options * Attend internal and external meetings and presentations * Play an active role in the OOH advertising industry * Build and maintain strong relationships with OOH sales representative and foster a sense of partnership and respect #LI-JS2 #OOH This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living). The Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, benefits include: health insurance, vision insurance, dental insurance, 401(k), Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, vacation days, sick days, personal days, paid parental leave, paid medical leave, and STD/LTD insurance benefits. Compensation Range $70,000-$90,000 USD This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely. Specific in-office days will be discussed during the interview process, with flexibility to align with team needs. Please note that the number or required in-office days may be adjusted over time, potentially increasing the number of required in-office days based on business needs.
