Customer Service Representative

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in the chemicals industry, located in EAST SAINT LOUIS, Illinois. The workplace setting is dynamic and fast-paced, where you will primarily be responsible for managing customer service operations and ensuring accuracy in order processing. Responsibilities: - Effectively manage customer service inboxes, ensuring all queries and issues are handled in a timely manner. - Rigorously double-check orders for accuracy to prevent any discrepancies. - Forward customer emails to the appropriate service representative or department, ensuring efficient communication and response. - Gather necessary documentation from customers in line with compliance requirements. - Utilize Microsoft Office applications for administrative tasks, document management, and compiling compliance documentation. - Ensure smooth order management, from processing to delivery, to enhance customer service experience. - Provide administrative assistance as needed, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team. Requirements - Proficiency in answering inbound calls and adept at managing high volume call flow. - Demonstrated ability to route incoming calls to appropriate departments or personnel. - Proficiency in handling email correspondence, with an emphasis on professionalism and timeliness. - Experience in order management, ensuring customer orders are processed and tracked efficiently. - Strong customer service skills, with a focus on resolving customer issues and maintaining customer satisfaction. - Experience in providing administrative assistance, including scheduling, data entry, and record keeping. - Ability to compile documents, ensuring accuracy and organization. - Knowledge of compliance documentation, ensuring all company processes meet regulatory standards. - Experience in document management, including filing, archiving, and digitizing records. - Familiarity with the chemicals industry, including its standards, processes, and safety requirements.
