Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual with expertise in both the technical and functional aspects of Merchandise Financial Planning (MFP) solutions. Strong Business Analyst capabilities, along with a deep understanding of retail and wholesale planning methods, are essential. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and maintenance of wholesale and retail planning solutions. Experience with MFP solutions like Blue Yonder's Enterprise Planning or Logility's Replenishment Planning is a plus. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Requirements Gathering and Analysis Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze requirements for MFP solutions, ensuring alignment with business goals. Conduct workshops and meetings to understand user needs and translate them into detailed functional specifications. Solution Design and Documentation Collaborate with technical teams to design and develop MFP solutions, integrating retail and wholesale planning best practices. Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for functional and technical specifications, process flows, and user guides. System Implementation and Configuration Configure MFP tools (such as Blue Yonder, Logility, or similar systems) to meet business requirements, working alongside IT and vendor teams. Assist in setting up system parameters, data models, and rules to support business processes. Testing and Quality Assurance Develop test cases, conduct system testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the solution meets business requirements and performs effectively. Identify, document, and resolve any system issues or discrepancies during the testing phases. Stakeholder Training and Support Provide training to end users on MFP tools and processes, ensuring successful adoption and effective use of the solution. Act as a point of contact for user support and troubleshooting, addressing queries and resolving issues as they arise. Continuous Improvement Regularly assess and identify areas of improvement. Work on system enhancements, updates, and optimization initiatives to drive efficiency and effectiveness. This role requires a mix of analytical, technical, and project management skills to effectively implement and sustain MFP solutions that support the company's financial and merchandise planning objectives. Experience, Skills & Knowledge Deep expertise in retail systems and processes, providing a strong foundation for effective problem-solving and solution development. Demonstrated ability to strategize, define system requirements, design, test, train, and implement practical business solutions within tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills, with strength in both oral presentations and clear, thorough written documentation. Strong collaborator, skilled in partnering with business stakeholders to achieve shared objectives. Highly proficient in various tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel with advanced formula skills, Outlook, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Oracle CPQ, and SQL. Detail-oriented with a strong aptitude for problem-solving, ensuring comprehensive analysis and effective issue resolution.
