Job Description: Are you a dedicated customer service professional with a knack for navigating multiple computing platforms and a passion for helping others? Our Bilingual UI Customer Service Rep will play a crucial role in handling Unemployment Insurance (UI) inquiries from Claimants, Employers, and other Stakeholders. Under general supervision, this position requires an individual who can provide accurate information and guidance while escalating issues when necessary. This position reports to the Unemployment Insurance Division located in one of the five Hubs across the state.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer and handle inbound calls regarding UI inquiries from Claimants, Employers, and other Stakeholders.Provide general information and guidance in line with the operational procedures and guidelines of the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (DEW).Properly utilize multiple, interfacing computing platforms to document call summaries, actions taken, and related disposition codes accurately.Follow operational procedures and guidelines regarding escalation and issue resolution, documenting the purpose of escalation and the resolution sought.Proactively communicate feedback to management regarding the customer engagement experience, including questions, concerns, complaints, and other feedback.Seek additional training and educational opportunities to promote internal movement.If you're ready to take on this challenge and help support South Carolina's workforce system, please apply. Minimum and Additional RequirementsA High School Diploma and at least one year of relevant experience in a call center, contact center, or other similar customer service center.
