Base pay range $88,400.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr RPO Talent Sourcing Specialist for IT/Cloud/Cyber Security for PSEG About the job This role is open to candidates, who live in or are willing to relocate to one of the following states: CT, DE, FL, NC, NJ, NY, PA, SC, TX. The Business Analyst is responsible for business systems, related fields, and how they align with user needs. This includes documenting requirements, establishing scope and objectives, and determining strategies for implementing systems to achieve business goals. Responsibilities include gathering and prioritizing customer requirements and working closely with business functions to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met. This role works closely with the Principal Technical Product Consultant to assess SAP operations and perform business analyses to improve SAP FICO processes and systems. The successful SAP Business Analyst exhibits in-depth knowledge of business analysis to evaluate data and inform business decisions, conduct research, and find solutions to meet business needs. This includes monitoring and implementing related security measures among other duties. Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Own functional specifications and serve as a functional expert with a deep understanding of business needs on product capabilities by defining business requirements, performing quality assurance, and defining reporting and alerting requirements. Develop and maintain relationships with partners to optimize and enhance integration and establish a deep understanding of customers' business and functional needs. Liaison between the IT department and the Finance, A/P, and Procurement business partners to provide required support and analysis. Assess business needs via business process analysis, collaboration, and observation. Determine how to integrate SAP software programs/products and tools to enhance targeted business processes. Evaluate IT infrastructure and capabilities, facilitating cost-effective improvements. Configure SAP solutions to ensure smooth system integration with enhanced functionalities and user-friendly interfaces. Align with the strategic direction of the broader IT organization and contribute to strategic vision/plans. Collaborate across the IT team to gain/offer technical solutions and resolve issues. Provide SAP business partners with basic training and support as needed. Document SAP processes and prepare progress reports. Ensure compliance with Company and industry regulations and guidelines. Keep informed of the latest SAP updates, developments, and offerings. Facilitate and coordinate external benchmarking/best practice efforts with other business organizations. Understand both Long Island IT and the overall business strategy (Finance/AP and Procurement) to monitor and plan for growth. Produce reports as needed and run ongoing tests, analyze data, and report findings. Job Specific Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Math or a related technical field. A minimum of 4 years of business or related field analysis experience with proven experience on medium - large sized projects. 2+ years proven experience working with project teams to determine implementation strategy. 1+ years proven experience developing testing strategy for large complex projects. Demonstrated leadership skills. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently on technical issues and utilize broad knowledge of business analysis. Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of people. Ability to proactively communicate technical topics clearly and succinctly. Demonstrated ability to interact with external constituent groups and customers. Solid knowledge of relevant business processes and their integration with SAP systems. In-depth knowledge of the latest advancements in SAP applications. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Desired Qualifications: Advanced degree, e.g. Masters of Information Technology. Experience in a team lead role through projects and other work planning experiences. Strong leadership and influence skills.
