The Information Center Receptionist (ICR) greets all visitors in-person at the Enrollment Center information desk and inputs their information into queuing system to be seen by an Enrollment Services Professional (ESP). This position also answers phone calls and conducts other general clerical assignments.HOURLY RATE: $16 - $18 HOURLYBASE LOCATION: Crown Point, IndianaICR must be able and willing to travel to Lake County locations which includes Crown Point, East Chicago, and Gary.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide general information about admissions, registration, financial aid, orientation, assessment, and business support Assist with all special projects and mailings, as well as provide filing, data entry, telephone and clerical assistance for the various departments in Student Affairs Read and understand forms for all departments and provide proper forms to customers; Verify completeness of forms and accompanying materials; Maintain appropriate inventory of necessary student materials; Compile information packets and mail as requested by the Admissions officeGreet visitors and students, clarify and answer general questions, and/or enter student into queuing system to be seen by an ESPDirect students to the correct location or refer to ESPDistribute general college and Enrollment Center information (e.g., catalogs/program brochures/course descriptions and forms) to studentsCollect and date-stamp student forms for back office/processing supportFunction effectively in a team environmentMaintain working knowledge of emergency/safety procedures as provided by supervisor; Be knowledgeable of the locations of the electronic and hard copy of procedures when applicable in order to deliver information as needed to customersConduct all activities within the established guidelines of the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) Supervision Received: Director of Enrollment and AdmissionsSupervision Given: NoneClassification: N3This is not to be construed as an exhaustive list.
