Come Join Our Family!We are seeking a Customer Service Representative at our Allentown, PA division. This position coordinates closely with the trash and recycle Route Supervisors, and drivers to ensure the orderly and efficient dispatch of transportation assets to ensure prompt and efficient execution of the daily scheduled routes. Ensures all crews complete their daily assigned routes, and coordinates special pick-ups and missed pick-ups, should they arise.Shift & Hours:Monday - Friday8:00AM to 5:00PMSome weekend work may be requiredSome earlier start times may be requiredWhat You Will Do:Monitor, enter, and update customer service calls throughout the dayCommunicates with drivers and notes start times and estimated completion times, ensuring crews stay on scheduleOperate technology to receive and relay information to trash and recycling crewsStay in periodic contact with crews throughout the day on a set schedule to keep abreast of any issues that may affect daily productionMaintain a communications log listing deliveries and pulls, problem stops, equipment problems and breakdowns, service issues, and any other pertinent information regarding the operation per the contractTrack and update hours of service as crews complete their daily assignments and reports daily to the operations managerCommunicate with customers regarding special pick-ups, questions, issues or complaints, if anyReports to route supervisors and/or operations manager regarding any issues that impact the production of the routeResponsible for creating and summarizing daily operational reports, and any other reports as requiredImmediately informs management of any accident or safety/compliance concernsCalls each truck twice daily with the "Be Safe" message for the day.
