Division New Millennium Overview Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive and emergency maintenance requirements on; Electric Controls, Electric Motors, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Conveyor Systems, and Welding Machines. Following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications. Responsibilities * Ensure correct and safe operation of equipment and machinery using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS). * Troubleshoot and maintain conveyors, electrical systems, pneumatic tools, hydraulic equipment, and welding equipment. * Fabricates repair parts by using machine shop instrumentation and equipment. * Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing metrics. * Attend daily shift meetings to prioritize work orders and minimize downtime. * Safely operate cranes, power tools, hoists and hand tools. * Assess the condition of used parts using micrometers, calipers and specifications. * Maintain parts and tools inventory. * Prepare maintenance reports and summary presentations using daily activity logs, analysis and trends. * Maintain electrical, pneumatics, hydraulics and mechanical knowledge via on-going training, industry workshops and technical reading. * Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and equipment needs. * Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedure, rules, and regulation. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Qualifications Required * Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance * Advanced understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics * Understanding of electrical systems and PLC's * Comfortable with computers * Capable of operating hand, power and specialized tools * Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. * Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills * High school diploma or GED Preferred * Understanding of PLC's and field device such as but not limited to photo eyes, proximity sensors, and transducers. * Experience with stepper motors and drives. * Familiar with Fanuc Robotics systems. * Advance technical or college training.
