Production Supervisor - 1st Shift

Position SummaryThe Production Shift Supervisor is responsible for directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of manufacturing personnel to satisfy customer quality and on-time delivery needs in a safe and effective manner. This position is responsible for supervising all hourly labor employees in the assigned manufacturing areas and shift. This position is also responsible for effectively coordinating with other departments to support effective use of manpower, materials, and equipment, as well as productivity improvement initiatives.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The manufacturing plant is open 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. There are three shifts with typical hours of: 1st Shift 6:30AM - 3:30PM 2nd Shift 2:30PM -11:30PM3rd Shift 10:30PM - 7:30AM TravelLittle to no travel is expected for this position.
