Location: Capital Cardiology Associates - Albany, New YorkReports To: Chief Executive Officer, CCAPosition Summary:Capital Cardiology Associates, the premier Cardiology Practice of the Capital Region of New York State and a founding member of the Cardiovascular Logistics platform, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Finance to oversee the financial health and operational effectiveness of the practice. This role will be pivotal in driving strategic growth and ensuring the organization’s fiscal sustainability while maintaining its commitment to excellence as a Top Workplace and Best Medical Specialty award winner.The Vice President of Finance will collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute financial strategies that support long-term organizational goals, while also identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.Key Responsibilities:Financial Leadership:Provide strategic financial oversight and direction, aligning financial goals with the organization’s mission and growth strategy.Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes to ensure accurate and sustainable financial operations.Monitor financial performance metrics, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.Operational Excellence:Collaborate with operational leaders to ensure seamless integration of financial and operational strategies.Oversee revenue cycle management, including billing, coding, collections, and payer contract negotiations.Ensure financial compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.Strategic Planning:Partner with the CEO and COO to identify and evaluate new market opportunities and service expansions.Develop and execute long-term financial plans to support practice growth, including mergers, acquisitions, and capital investments.Conduct financial modeling and scenario analysis to guide strategic decision-making.Stakeholder Engagement:Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including physicians, healthcare providers, insurers, and financial institutions.Present financial updates and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors and leadership team.Risk Management & Compliance:Ensure adherence to healthcare financial regulations, including HIPAA and other compliance standards.Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to protect the practice’s financial and operational integrity.Qualifications:Education:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field required.Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.Experience:At least 8 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including 5 years in a healthcare organization or medical practice.Strong expertise in financial planning, revenue cycle management, and healthcare compliance.Experience in cardiology or a similar clinical specialty is preferred.Skills:Proven ability to lead and inspire teams while driving financial and operational performance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience leveraging data to drive decisions.In-depth knowledge of healthcare finance, including billing, coding, and payer relations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders.Physical Requirements:Ability to sit, stand, and work on a computer for extended periods.Occasional travel to off-site locations, meetings, and conferences as needed.Benefits:Competitive salary with performance-based incentives.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings, and paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and career growth.Equal Opportunity Employer:Capital Cardiology Associates is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment based on race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, veteran status, disability, or any other federally, state, or locally protected class.SE# 510696921
